A downloadable game

In the near future, play as the virus hunter Viridian in the year 2999 and protect people's devices from malware attacks from the ancient internet with the help of your avatar by timing your clicks to the beat!

Walkthrough:

To play, use the mouse's vertical movement to move Viridian up and down the gameplay window, when the malware enemy fires an attack, click the mouse at the right time to counter. When an enemy attacks with a long note, click and hold for the duration of the attack. Malware will use on-screen projections to try to throw off your rhythm; click on the pop-ups to close them if they get in the way. Make it through each level without getting too many misses to defeat the virus.

Controls:

  • Move the mouse to move Viridian up and down the screen
  • Click to interact/slash
  • Click and hold to spin slash

Features:

  • Play inside of a futuristic internet cafe on a client's laptop.
  • Play in a neon nightclub on the screen of an in-progress rave.
  • Use the beat of the electronic percussion music to time attacks, with the attacks being in sync to the music.
  • Enjoy the animated environment objects that trigger whenever a perfect counter is made, such as the coffee cup and the DJ.
  • Discover a wide variety of pop-ups that obscure the screen and must be strategically closed either with a click on the 'X' icon or by clicking multiple times.
  • Check the timing of each click with the note-timing.exe pop-up that displays whether a "perfect", "good" or "miss" click was made, perfects and goods will increase the score for the level; while misses have no effect.
  • Keep an eye on the health-bar.exe pop-up. It increases with perfects or goods but decreases with a miss.
  • If the player makes it through the whole song, they can view the score they accumulated at the win screen.
  • Play through the new game mode: Powerline Grind and play through an infinite side scroller that gets progressively faster while controlling Viridian's spark; dodging their way through oncoming rogue malware that damages the player.
  • In Powerline Grind, the score accumulates with the time survived instead of hitting notes; Viridian's health also cannot be replenished, so the player will have to react faster and faster or face a game over after all their health is depleted.
